Today, we’d like to speak to you about a skin care / anti aging product that’s actually been around for years, and which is becoming more popular in the market since their claims are backed by science.
We’re referring to Hydroxatone, and we’ll try to fill the information gaps that they don’t talk about on their official site. We’ll also give you ladies our best advice about guarantees, price comparisons and the overall reviews of Hydroxatone.
The Blueprint
Hydroxatone is designed to reduce the look of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as to prevent future wrinkles. One main difference between this product and other anti-aging creams is that it claims to cover EVERY single aspect of skin care.
Many products focus on one single thing, like enhancing skin cell production, and to help in the creation of firmer skin. But Hydroxatone is designed to take care of EVERYTHING, which includes:
- Exfoliation and removal of dead cells.
- Acting as a deeper skin conditioner to hydrate your skin.
- Reduction of the look of age spots, wrinkles and fine lines.
- Enhancing the early production of healthy cells.
They are basically taking the challenge to incorporate all aspects of skin care in one cream.
We’ll admit, that was a very bold attempt. But did it work?
In order to answer this question, we’ll need to look more closely at all the ingredients in this product.
Ingredients
There are 45 individual ingredients in Hydroxatone. Most are simply fillers, which can be found in many skin care products.
The ingredients we’ll focus on are the three major ingredients that purportedly give Hydroxatone an edge over competitors:
They include:
- Argireline
- Matrixyl 3000
- Hyaluronic Acid
Beginning with Matrixyl… If you’re looking at technological advances in anti-wrinkle products, there are two types of products to consider. Some work to strengthen facial muscles and lift your skin, in order to prevent wrinkles’ appearance. Others build collagen production, in order to strengthen and firm your skin. The first is a short-term effect, while the second is more long-term. Matrixyl is one of that second ingredient group.
This compound had a recent upgrade, bringing it to Matrixyl 3000. This is the type you’ll find in Hydroxatone. It mimics the normal properties of collagen which has broken down, which then tricks your body so that it will create more collagen, to develop new skin cells.
You can usually see the effects the next day after using Hydroxatone, and the increased production of collagen increases over time, for as long as you use the product. This ingredient has been designed for sustainable, long-term skin cell production.
Notice from the picture above, it’s also absorbed into the dermis layer, which is where most collagen is produced.
Argireline fits into the first anti-wrinkle product category, which are muscle stimulants. The effects are familiar to those seen with Botox injections. Argireline causes your facial muscles to contract nearly immediately, which helps to reduce wrinkles and fine lines’ effects.
Hyaluronic Acid is also known as Hyaluronan, and it is helpful in repairing tissue. The official site for Hydroxatone actually mentions just the other HA property, which is the ability to help in hydrating the skin and retaining moisture. It’s believed that HA can also help in the restoration of skin that has been damaged by the sun.
At this time, there isn’t another product available that combines these three ingredients into their formulas, so this cream is unique in that aspect.
Clinical Studies and Hydroxatone Reviews
Lets look at the effectiveness of Hydroxatone cream by checking customer reviews, and digging more deeply into the product’s clinical studies completed thus far.
Honestly, it was hard to pin down clinical study information about this skin care cream. We were able to confirm that the study was conducted independently. The study specifications:
- Participants: ages 36-54
- Eight week study
- Each participant had to use product daily
- 90% of all participants saw visible effects on wrinkles and fine lines
Since that isn’t much information to work from, we did more research, asking people who have used the product what types of results they had seen. Asking users of a product is often the easiest way to find out if the product is priced properly.
After a few very boring hours spent reading reviews that were BS, we tracked down a few real ladies chatting about the experiences that they had with this anti-wrinkle cream. We’re only going to quote two reviews, after we ensured that they were real and not simple spammers.
The first review was on an independent blog for reviews. Many people were discussing the people who make Hydroxatone trying to push the sale of their brand of under-eyes cream the most. It’s called Hydrolyze.
They’re just like any other company – they need to sell more products. The people also mentioned a 30-day risk free trial, where some thought they would not owe more money after 30 days.
That’s not how it works.
You will pay normal price for Hydroxatone, unless you call them and tell them you were not happy with the product. They are available at 1-888-621-4043. You can get mad if it takes that much, if you want a refund.
Here’s an interesting review:
“When you call Hydroxatone or Hydrolyze, the people will explain everything to you. It is a great deal to try this for 30 days and then make a decision. I don’t know of any stores out there that will let you walk out of the store with a $140.00 product to try and only when it works, do you (in good faith) come back and pay for it.
I loved both of these products and my forehead and eye wrinkles were smoothing out by the 2nd week. My boyfriend even complimented my eyes and he didn’t even know I was using any creams! That was a shocker! The hydrolyze was really lite for my eyes and not only took care of the dark circles around my eyes but also a little broken blood vessel on the bridge of my nose.
I can’t use too many products on the market because I have excema and I WILL break out if I’m not careful. When I read the ingredients I saw mostly vitamins, and extracts and MY SKIN LOVED IT!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend trying this product for a month and if you don’t love it, just call them…. they are sweet!”

Our second review was found on Amazon. We wanted to show this review, since the buyer realized that purchasing from Amazon was not the best choice as far as pricing goes.
This review is also pretty straight-forward, and the reviewer is clearly describing the experience she had with the product. Her review also covers the fact that this skin care product doesn’t work overnight – it takes time.
Check this review out:
“I ordered this originally after seeing an advert on T.V. It is not as ‘amazing’/ revolutionary / blah blah blah as the adverts make out, but I have seen a difference in the wrinkles, especially around my eyes.
Not sure if I would pay the prices you get have to for a jar on here, as you can get it cheaper elsewhere.
It does work, just don’t expect to wake up with the face of someone 20 years younger than you, like the cringey advert makes out.”

Below is a YouTube video review. It’s worth a look:
Next, we will look at interesting price comparisons, and their risk free trial…
Price Comparisons & Their “Risk-Free” Trial Deal (which is very important!)
Doing a quick comparison in price between third party merchants and buying direct from Hydroxatone shows us that Amazon’s prices are usually about $10 higher than buying direct from the company website. You also don’t get a guarantee or the risk-free, 30 day trial.
That’s our next topic – the risk “free” trial.
There are many women who are very misinformed about the trial. To start the trial, you enter credit card information. After that trial is over, you’ll be billed $69.95 at that time and then again every month, unless you cancel.
Many women have waited too long to cancel and return the unused Hydroxatone. So they got charged for $69.95 even though they didn’t want to continue to use the product.
The people at Hydroxatone are ruthless about cajoling you to keep your Hydroxatone trial. If you aren’t happy with your results, return it as soon as you determine that fact.
What’s Our Conclusion?
This cream offers some satisfactory results, when it comes to anti-aging properties. It’s certainly not the best product available, but it has an acceptable rate of success. Some ladies have found that it’s a bit oily, and it has caused some initial breakouts. But most girls who try it are fairly happy. That’s why we rank it as #3 on our list of anti-aging creams for the year.
Score: 3 stars !
